Driving along beautiful coastal road through the sleepy town of Cleveland, your eyes will naturally set on 1611 Lakeshore Drive.  Located on 5 acres of lawns and over 300 feet of private beach, the Lakeglass Cottage is one of the largest properties that offers direct water access. 

 

The unique design of the Lakeglass Cottage is a real feat in optical illusion.  Viewed from the street, you will wonder how all guests will fit in this charming cottage. 

 

The vast property allows for a breathtaking views of Lake Michgan.  The gentle slope that opens to a vast lawn will allow you to play outdoor games mere feet from the water's edge. 

 

Whether you are looking forward to taking a swim, dipping your toes, or searching for colorful lake glass along the shore, two steps is all that's required to reach the water's edge.  

 

An oversized outdoor fire-pit and cozy Adirondack chairs will keep the conversations going way into the night.  Gaze up and you will be stunned to see unobstructed views of innumerable stars.

Once you are ready to head home, a warm outdoor shower will take care of any lake water or hitchhiking sand on your skin.

If you're planning for a winter stay, the kids will be entertained for hours down our expansive sledding hill, while you sip on a hot toddy and watch them from the comforts of the house.   The outdoor gas fireplace serves as a warming station for kids and adults alike.  Adventures await as you snowshoe through the property and discover the Lake Michigan ice shoves and ice sculptures that rival those made by Elsa in the movie Frozen.
